Desert Trail Column - March 21, 2019

The presentation “Raptors of the Desert” by Susan Doggett was very informative and interesting. Susan brought along a few live raptors for everyone to see up close and personal. Thank you, Susan!

Karen’s Commentary:  Finally, some warmth! Even though our “cold” weather is ridiculous to people in truly frigid regions, it is still just plain miserable to me.

Darlene’s Commentary:  Mother Nature has blessed our desert again with color everywhere! It is blooming in steps, and new plants are sprouting in unexpected places. Thank you!

Handy Hint:  Make a twine dispenser out of a flower pot by placing a ball of string inside the pot and threading one end through the drainage hole to prevent tangles.
